We have been using Kleenoil for approximately ten years on all our heavy equipment motors. We extended oil drain periods from four to three times, changing the Kleenoil cartridge every 250 hours. Last fall, two motors were removed primarily for blow-by, but with the hours on these motors, we felt the crank and cams would need machining. These motors had excess of 26,000 hours on them.
Our machine shop told us that they did not know what we were doing with ...

The Kleenoil Hydraulic Block is mounted to the bottom of the Kleenoil Bypass Filtration System to convert the lower pressure bypass engine oil filter to a high pressure hydraulic fluid filter. There are three ports on the valve block as listed:

The Kleenoil Hydraulic Unit Data Sheet The Kleenoil "High Pressure" oil filter can be fitted on the 'by-pass' basis to hydraulic systems, compressors, or any system with oil at pressure up to 3000 PSI. The flow through the Kleenoil Filter is controlled to approximately 4 liters / minute at 40 PSI. This gives you a flow rate which is low enough to have negligible effects on most 'System Pressures', YET is high enough to ensure that oil is being kept in 'as new' condition. Filtration Level: Particulate contamination in accordance with BS 5540 Part 4: 1981 and ISO/DIS 4406 14/9, equivalent to NAS 1638 Class 6 (Hydraulic Oil Specification). Water Retention: To <0.025% Total Water Capacity of Cartridges: Heavy Duty (Code KF50) - 0.56L and Super Duty (code KF85) - 1.2L NAS GRADE (National Aerospace Standard 1638) NAS GRADE is a widely adopted standard to measure the contamination degree of hydraulic oil. |
